Accounting Assitant - *Signing Bonus

NMG is seeking a talented, self-motivated and hands-on individual to join our team as Accounting Assistant:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Record journal entries and reconcile quarterly balance sheet accounts
  • Calculate and report payments to members
  • Prepare invoices and manage collection process
  • Provide support for year end audit
  • Maintain member database
  • Prepare various correspondence in a variety of formats including letter, presentations and reports
  • Maintain documentation of policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or College Diploma with a specialty in Accounting
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English are essential
  • Detail oriented individual with highly developed organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sage 300 ERP

Intermediate Developer - *Signing Bonus

NMG is seeking a creative, innovative and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Intermediate Developer, progressing to Senior Developer:

Reporting to the Director of Information Services, your responsibilities will include:

  • Development work on .NET & SQL Server
  • Projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate .NET/SQL developer
  • Experience in crafting .NET & SQL Server for client server, web and mobile environments
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional time and project management skills

Payroll Specialist / Accounting Assistant - *Signing Bonus

NMG is seeking a talented, self-motivated and hands-on individual to join our team as Payroll Specialist/Accounting Assistant:

Reporting to the Controller your responsibilities will include:

Payroll Specialist:

  • Understand, explain and apply payroll and benefit policies, principles and legislation
  • Backup to Human Resource Administrator for processing salaried and hourly bi-weekly payroll and administer benefits for 70+ employees
  • Assist with implementation of ADP Workforce Now platform for Payroll and Human Resources
  • Assist with maintaining Corporate Manual and Employee Handbook on intranet
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, budgets and variance analysis

Accounting Assistant:

  • Record journal entries and reconcile quarterly balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare financial statements, budget and forecast
  • Calculate and report payments to members
  • Prepare invoices and manage collection process
  • Provide support for year end audit

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or College Diploma with a specialty in Accounting
  • Preference will be given to members of the Canadian Payroll Association
  • Minimum 5+ years payroll and benefit administration experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English are essential
  • Detail oriented individual with highly developed organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sage 300 ERP and ADP Pay@Work or Workforce Now
